MIABC EVENTS There are many benefits in becoming a member of MIABC as well as several sponsorship opportunities available. From September to May of each year, regular monthly luncheon events are held in downtown Vancouver. The Luncheons commence at 11:45am and adjourn at 1:30pm and our guest speakers address such topics as economic forecasting to related current events to industry updates. Members and their guests are invited each December to network and celebrate the holiday season. The Mortgage Investment Association Annual General Meeting is held every year in July and coincides with a summer session which traditionally includes guest speakers and a great networking event. Another popular feature of the AGM is an address by the MIABC’s Legal Counsel on current or pending legislative developments, which may have an impact on the mortgage industry.
