September Luncheon - Rory Roberts, INTECH Risk Management

Rory M. Roberts is Chairman at INTECH Risk Management Inc. and has been engaged, on a global basis, in construction and other very large property insurance risk management programs for over forty years.

He has been involved in a dozen major league sports facilities and over seventy-five public sector infrastructure projects.  In addition to his normal activities as a consultant to over sixty financial institutions in Canada, the United States of America and Europe, a number of real estate companies, and others, he is an active participant in furthering insurance risk management education within the financial institution and real estate and construction industries.

He has also published a number of articles on insurance risk management issues, particularly with respect to real estate risks in Canada and the United States of America.  He has appeared as an expert witness on many occasions on construction related issues and on the issue of terrorism insurance for the real estate industry.

Rory is a member of Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario, and the Surety Association of Canada.
