Peter's Bio
Peter is Senior Vice-President at Bentall Kennedy Canada with responsibility for portfolio management and asset management of a number of separate accounts. He was on the Investment Committee and the Investment Manager for PPT II, a Bentall Kennedy mezzanine lending fund.
Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy in 1999, Peter worked as a Manager of Specialty Funds and Portfolio Financing and Acquisitions for GE Capital Real Estate Canada. Before GE, Peter was a Vice-President in the Real Estate Group of Citibank Canada and was involved in relationship management and the workout of several large accounts.
Herman's Bio
Herman Kwan is a career mortgage banker, having worked at MCAP in various capacities since 1999, eventually taking over the operation of MCAP's Vancouver Development Finance Group in 2012. He has been involved in originating construction loans from $2,000,000 up to $400,0000,000, with over $1,600,000,000 of total volume generated during his time with MCAP. His primary focus is project construction financing.
Prior to joining MCAP, Herman worked at a major property and casualty insurer for 3+ years, servicing general contractors and sub-trades throughout Western Canada.
