Russ Bougie and Team at Avison will present on Industrial Sales and Leasing
Russ Bougie, Principal - Consulting & Advisory Industrial Sales & Leasing
Russ specializes in the sales and leasing of industrial properties and development sites in the Vancouver market. His honest, advisory approach and service excellence has resulted in Russ doing multiple assignments with loyal clients. Russ became a Principal at Avison Young in 2015 after 17 years at Colliers International where he was a Senior Vice President. He has been directly involved in over $500 million in sales and over 5.5 million square feet of leasing, with a focus on sales and user representation. Russ has a passion for learning and working in teams to best serve clients, and his greatest strength is his strong relationships and trust with users, investors, and influencers in the Metro Vancouver market.
Ronan Pigott, Vice President office Leasing Sales & Leasing Tenant Representation
Ronan joined Avison Young as a specialist in office leasing. His responsibilities include strategy development, site identification and leading lease review/negotiations. Ronan’s understanding of the specific pertinent requirements of each of his clients enables him to provide custom commercial real estate strategies resulting in the best possible outcomes.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Ronan worked for JLL representing emerging and established corporations on developing real estate strategies predominantly in the City of Vancouver. Ronan has worked with numerous companies throughout Metro Vancouver, as well as nationally. Ronan was awarded the 2015 JLL North American Top Achiever Award.
Carey Buntain, Associate Investment, Land, Multi Family
Carey specializes in Multi-Family Investment Sales throughout Metro Vancouver. Carey's position involves using his experience and market knowledge to serve his client's needs and objectives.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Carey graduated from the British Columbia institute of Technology’s Professional Real Estate Program. While at BCIT, he earned the position of Vice-President of Operations within the BCIT Real Estate Association, where he gained invaluable experience expanding his network and relationships through its various industry events.
Carey brings his leadership and work ethic to the Avison Young team, as well as his finance and investment background to help analyze the British Columbia Multi-Family & Investment Sales market.
Hart Buck and Team at Colliers will present on Strata Wind-ups and Condo Land
Hart Buck, Vice President
Hart joined Colliers in 1985 specializing in land sales which has allowed him to create many long-term relationships within the development community. During the periods of low demand for development opportunities, Hart began to create his market niche within the insolvency sectors, by servicing the requirements of foreclosing lenders and transactions requiring court oversight, throughout Western Canada. He has participated in transactions approaching $1 billion in aggregate value.
Hart was a key member of the sales team of Glen Robin place, a substantial strata sale prior to any amendments to the Strata Property Act, and has become a leader within the realm of Strata Wind-Ups and sales.
Jennifer Darling, Associate
Jennifer graduated from McGill University after receiving a Bachelor of Commerce with specializations in Marketing and Accounting. She joined Colliers in 2015 and has established expertise in the newly adopted Strata Wind-Up process. She has worked closely with Hart on numerous Strata Wind-Up projects throughout Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. Prior to joining Colliers, Jennifer worked for a global sportswear brand and was responsible for all contract and sponsorship management as well as national sales and marketing initiatives.
Lonnie Neufeld as Moderator
Lonnie Neufeld joined Burgess, Cawley, Sullivan and Associates (BCS) in 1980. He left the firm in 1984 to work in the financial services sector where he spent time with both Montreal Trust and Sun Life Assurance of Canada. Mr. Neufeld rejoined the firm in 1991 and became a principal in May of 2005.
