Lea assists in the execution of the corporate strategy for the CMHC Insured Multi Unit business lines including origination of term and construction loans, servicing and securitization. Lea has over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining CMLS in April 2021, Lea held various roles at one of Canada’s largest life companies, where she specialized in commercial mortgage lending in western Canada and the United States. Most recently, she was responsible for implementing the corporate vision of the CMHC Insured business line with one of Canada’s largest credit unions.

Mr. Jeremy Bramwell is President of Bramwell & Associates Realty Advisors Inc. Since joining the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1994, Jeremy first worked in the residential appraisal field as a CRA, before starting to do commercial work in 2000. Since then, he has completed valuations on a wide selection of income producing properties such as office buildings, industrial parks, shopping centres, and mixed-use developments, as well as special use types of properties. Jeremy personally appraises between $500 million to over $1 billion of real estate a year. His clients include pension funds, law firms, domestic banks, small investors and developers. His firm operates in Vancouver, with a specialized practice office in Victoria.

In his role as Practice Leader and Operations Manager in the EDR group for Pinchin Ltd. includes overseeing projects to assess and investigate properties, providing solutions to meet clients’ regulatory requirements for contaminated sites. Mr. Berger has a B.Sc. in Agriculture, M.Sc. in Environmental Management, as well a Contaminated Site Approved Professional (CSAP) on the Ministry of Environment’s Roster of Approved Professionals; an Environmental Professional (EP) with ECO Canada; a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the BC and Alberta Institutes of Agrologists. With more than 23 years of environmental consulting experience, Tadd has completed over 2,500 projects on behalf of Pinchin West Ltd.

Over his 27 year career, Tim Lack has been the lawyer responsible for over 10,000 real estate transactions, acting for banks, credit unions and many other institutional and private lenders. His work with private lenders is extensive. He has been asked numerous times by litigation lawyers to provide his expert opinion on private lending issues and has lectured publicly on several occasions to other lawyers on this subject.
